Classic Pancake Ingredients
- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp granulated sugar
- 3 tsp baking powder
- 1 ¼ cups of milk
- 3 tbsp melted butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp salt
Instructions: How to Make Classic Homemade Pancakes
- Start by getting out your large mixing bowl, sifter, sugar, and salt. Sift your flour into the bowl then add the baking powder, sugar, and salt together and combine them.
- Add in your wet ingredients: milk, vanilla extract, egg, and melted butter into the large bowl and whisk it all together until it is smooth.
- Set your non-stick pan or griddle to medium heat and lightly grease it with butter. Once it’s heated, use a ladle or measuring cup to pour 1/3 cup of batter onto the surface. Cook until you start seeing bubbles form on the surface with a golden brown bottom; it should take about 1-2 minutes. Then flip your pancake using a spatula and cook the other side for another 1-2 minutes or until golden brown.
- Serve your family and friends!
